SINTEF and JSW Cement conducted pilot tests at the JSW-Nandyal Cement Plant in Andhra Pradesh from May 28-30, 2024. SINTEF and Geoclean (erstwhile Geocycle) have conducted a pilot demonstration with non-recyclable plastic wastes at Ambuja- Bhatapara Cement Plant in Chhattisgarh during 13-18 December 2022. Geoclean is the waste management arm of Adani Cement, which took over the Holcim assets in India (ACC and Ambuja Cement) in September 2022 and is the 2nd largest cement producer in India.
