UNEP with its partner Chintan organized a community capacity building programme on 20th December 2024 in Pinki-Dalhata, Munger, with the participation of 20 community group members. The programme focused on the environmental impacts of improper waste management and the importance of segregation at the household level. Participants were introduced to practical methods for proper waste disposal and reducing Single-Use Plastics (SUPs). The training highlighted accessible, sustainable alternatives and encouraged local adoption. It concluded with a discussion on community-led waste reduction strategies and next steps for action.
