In addition, the workshop provided a detailed overview of the latest Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, with emphasis on the responsibilities of urban local bodies, bulk waste generators, and citizens. Key provisions such as mandatory segregation at source, extended producer responsibility (EPR) linkages, and enforcement of single\u2011use plastic bans were explained in an accessible manner.<\/p>\n
The interactive format allowed participants to share local challenges and explore solutions tailored to Munger\u2019s context.
