Onsite trainings were conducted with active participation from city officials from 24 states. The trainings were conducted on the following broad domains under the municipal solid waste management:

The objective of the programmes was to enable participants understand the essential legislation and compliance in implementation of Solid Waste Management (SWM) at the local bodies, and allied waste management issues prevailing in different contours of the country.
