UNEP with its partner Chintan organized a Capacity Building Programme on effective waste segregation and sustainable alternatives on 12th November 2024 in Dilawarpur Kalisthan, Munger. The programme engaged 20 community group members and focused on the environmental impact of improper waste management. Participants learned about proper segregation techniques and disposal methods. The training highlighted the negative effects of Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) and introduced practical, sustainable alternatives. It concluded with discussions on community-led waste reduction strategies and collective action planning.
