UNEP with its partner Chintan organized a awareness workshop on effective waste segregation and sustainable alternatives on 16th October 2024 near Laxmi Cinema, Munger. The workshop brought together more than 30 community group members to build awareness on the environmental impacts of poor waste practices. Participants were introduced to correct methods of waste segregation and disposal. The cocnerns related to Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) were discussed, along with sustainable alternatives suited for daily use. The training concluded with strategies and action points to promote a plastic-free community.
