UNEP with its implementing partner Chintan organized a workshop on waste segregation and alternatives to plastic on 23rd September 2024 in Chandan Bhag New Tola, Munger. This training workshop brought together women from local Self-Help Groups and introduced core concepts of waste management and household-level segregation. Participants learned about the Single-Use Plastic (SUP) ban, explored practical and eco-friendly alternatives, hands-on discussions on recycling, upcycling, and community-driven waste reduction.
